I chose to transform the letter "y" into a dragon because I really love dragons. I think they are elegant and dragons are my favorite mythical creature. I chose the font Eskorte Latin Italic for my project because of how elegant it was. I wanted to make an elegant dragon, and I thought the lowercase "y" in Eskorte Latin was really elegant and thought it could uncurl nicely into a dragon shape. Instead of uncurling, the "y" ends up separating and the tail grows into a body while the rest of the letter turns into a pair of wings. That gives us the final dragon shape seen in this project.
